Vadingo!

For the past four years, my wife and I have been the proud owners of two hotels located in the countryside on Majorca, and never has there been as much price on the part of the tourists as in this year, 2009.

An idea came to me: why not create a internet platform which allows the client to negotiate his/her own vacation?

I was especially interested in creating something that would also benefit the hotelier, and bearing this in mind, I developed the traveler-marketplace concept for an Internet site.

With the idea “in my luggage” I approached my good friend, Jochen Gülden, who was once again completely occupied with something else and was not able to lend an ear to my idea.

Not even 24 hours later, I received a telephone call from him and he simply stated, “I´m with you.”

A weight seemed to have been lifted from my shoulders. I couldn´t imagine working with a better person: Jochen had years of experience as a Website developer and designer, and knew better than anyone else how to put this kind of plan into motion.
