The artistic owner devoted many years to the construction of Finca Merino; the attention to detail and architectural features throughout the property give it great character and style. This really is a striking home, from the moment you enter Finca Merino through an enclosed tranquil courtyard with a little fountain bubbling through cobbles you know that this is something special!
Come to Spain where you and your family can enjoy the fire and passion of Andalucian culture and the atmosphere has a relaxed 'manana' attitude.
To the right of the hallway you will find a spacious open plan kitchen-dining room and through a low arched Moorish window there are lovely views across the countryside. The kitchen has lovely wooden counter tops and is well equipped with every appliance you could need ... electric oven, gas hobs (stove top), microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, juicer, coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc. The perfect place for you to create your Mediterranean feast for your family.
There is a separate laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.
In the west wing you will find the spacious air conditioned master bedroom with a high wooden beamed ceiling and an ensuite walk-in shower room with wc and basin. In the East wing of the villa is an air conditioned double bedroom with views of the swimming pool and the two air conditioned twin bedrooms. There is a bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, sinks and wc. There is a further shower room with wc & basin in the hallway.
All the accommodation is on one level except for one spacious air-conditioned double bedroom which is located on a mezzanine floor, this is accessed via an open plan staircase from the lounge.
Outdoor living is very much part of the lifestyle in Spain - the poolside shaded terrace with the outdoor dining table & built in Andalucian style BBQ is a perfect place for a long leisurely lunch whilst sharing a glass or two of Rioja with your friends and family.
The outstanding pool is set in beautiful gardens in a stand-alone location providing privacy for you and your family. The designer pool is perfect for young children with a large graded shallow end ... relax in one of the comfortable sun loungers, watch the children splash around having fun in the sun or enjoy a good book. You enter Finca Merino through enormous antique doors to a spacious home with a lovely bright and airy feel about it. The spectacular lounge, to the left of the hallway, has an amazing high vaulted beamed ceiling and the floors are finished in an antique marble parvey.
