The hotel dates from the 11th Century, and as you enter it secrets of past generations are worn into the thick stone that makes up its walls. Pass through the cobbled patio, and the medieval well in the courtyard and stop to admire the olive press, or walk through the gardens to the pool, with its dazzle of bougainvillea, or the roof terrace, from where you can appreciate the spectacular views with a meal and a cold glass of local wine
